Untitled Document
So much can be done with Mod Podge; the possibilities are endless! In order to show these possibilities, we challenged eight artists to design a decoupage project using one of the most common crafting surfaces—a simple wood frame. Each designer could use any of the Mod Podge formulas; the rest was up to them! The results were everything from simple gifts to simply glamorous. We hope that this project inspires the next decoupage artist—you
Friendly Forest Glitter Frame
By Amy Anderson
"I decided to bring together three of my favorite things for my frame project: the color blue, graphic embellishments, and Mod Podge!  I wanted to create a project that was easy to complete in a few hours and used minimal materials, because you never know when you may need a last minute gift!"

Holiday Santa Collage Art Frame
By Chris Williams

"The Christmas holiday is my favorite holiday season.  I LOVE the glam and glitz of this time of year.  I felt it would be a great project to feature a variety of Mod Podge formulas and FolkArt Acrylics. I also used old jewelry, gems, buttons, strings of beads and beaded trims, wood cut outs and ribbons.  Look around the craft store or your craft drawer; you will be surprised as what you can find to embellish your collage art.  Enjoy!"

Flower Power Frame
By Sherrie Ragsdale

“My main reason for choosing this style is the bright colors.  I love bright colors.  I love working with anything that might work in a child's room.  I also love the retro feel to the paper I choose.  I love the 60's and 70's.  Maybe because that is when I was a child and it brings back happy feelings.”

Family Ties Patchwork Frame
By Candice Davis
“Some of my fondest memories as a child are of my grandparents.  It was great fun to explore their attic.  There was so much stuff and everything had a story.  This is one of my favorite finds: old ties and lace.”

Birthday Celebrations Frame
By Martha Johnson
“Birthdays are always a big celebration in my household!  It's a day to focus on the "birthday girl" or "birthday boy" and make them feel extra special.   Designing a frame with words of encouragement and adding a sparkle finish enhances the memory of the fun of the day.”

Whimsical “Love Birds” Collage Frame
By Debbie Saenz
“I wanted my frame to tell a beautiful story about the picture it holds. I created a playful collage using the depth and interest of texture with a variety of my favorite embellishments, while giving it the elegance of a vintage air.”

Feathers & Stain Frame
By Ginnifer Lily
“I wanted to create a classic frame, one that was easily used for many home decors. Why feathers, why not….I like feathers!”

Classic Dream Frame
By Patty Therrien
“I enjoy creating projects with a vintage feel.  The soft colors and antique embellishments result in a beautiful frame you can use to hold a picture of a treasured family member or other loved one.”
