2009 was a great year for Plaid at the CHA Winter Show, held in Anaheim, California. With over 770 new products, this year marked Plaid's largest new product release ever! Complementing the huge product array were celebrity appearances, make it/take its, demos, giveaways and more--all taking place in Plaid's beautiful 2,700 square foot booth
Show Highlights included: |
- Renowned artist Mary Englbreit signed autographs while mingling with guests and staff.
- Bill Skinner, Senior Vice President of Marketing, accepted an award on behalf the late David A. Cunninghan, beloved founder of Plaid Enterprises.
- Donna Dewberry taught dozens of non-painters how to paint as well as how to create giftable projects using new FolkArt colors.
- Plaid's Celebrity crafters, Steve and Cathie, demo'd Mod Podge and more.
- On-spot caricatures were created by artist Laura Kelly, designer of Me and My Peeps family decals.
- Candy Cooper led crafters on how to create sizzling jewelry with Faux Show and Fresh.
