Introducing All Night Media Inks

Elaine Reed
Rubber Stamping & Card Making

All Night Media's introduction of high quality, acid-free, archival inks is a milestone for rubber stampers and paper crafters from beginner to advanced levels. With one of the widest ranges of color, All Night Media inks offer value, selection and flexibility.

Unique Case Has Built-in Benefits

Every All Night Media ink is packaged in an hourglass case. Why? To make it easier to hold as you load your stamps with ink or treat your surfaces. The curve has been ergonomically designed for easy handling -- no hand cramps as you grip the pad. Best of all, the ink pad itself is still the standard size. You have a better case to work with and just as much ink as with older rectangular cases.

The flat lid on the pads are perfect for mounting cling-able unmounted stamps. Plus, the clear lid of the pigment cases allow for perfect placement of your stamped image. No other standard case can offer this feature.

Finally, the cases are stackable, allowing stampers to keep a tidy work area and still have all their favorite colors in easy reach. No other ink can give you the style, comfort and convenience of these pads.

Dye Inks

All Night Media Dye Inks come in fifteen different colors, covering all the classics and the best trends. These inks dry quickly making them perfect for scrapbooking and memory albums and reducing the chances of smudging. Plus, they are water resistant, making them an excellent choice for stampers who like to use water color pencils in their projects.

When should you use dye inks? All Night Media dye inks stand-out in this area because they are fade resistant, in addition to being acid free and archival. This means they will produce a crisp image with color that will stay bright and true -- use them on almost any rubber stamp project. Even stamped on glossy and coated papers these inks will yield excellent results. The raised surface of the pad makes these inks perfect for large background stamps and finely detailed stamps.

Whether you are making a card, a scrapbook page or an altered art project, All Night Media dye inks will prove their versatility time and time again. One of the few techniques that All Night Media dye inks are not cut out for is heat-set embossing. However, All Night Media pigment inks are perfect for this.

Pigment Inks

All Night Media pigment inks come in twenty-five solid colors and two rainbows. These vibrant colors have a slow drying time to ensure gorgeous, professional embossed effects. The staying power of these bold colors make them an excellent choice for card making and advanced techniques.

Anyone who uses these pigment inks will feel like a true artist when they see the vivid, long-lasting projects created with these colors.

Kids' Inks

Kids' inkpads are nontoxic, acid free and washable when wet. They come in ten solid colors and two rainbows -- all colors that kids love. These inks dry quickly to avoid smears and smudges.

Kids will love stamping with these inks as they see results similar to All Night Media's regular line of dye inks. Best of all, they won't have colorful fingers for days and weeks after completing their projects. A good scrub and they're clean!

Designer Inks

Even Disney has gotten in on the action with three rainbow pads full of colors to bring all of your favorite characters to life.

Tools & Accessories

But its not just about the inks. While tons of different looks can be created with inkpads and stamps, many more looks can be created with different tools and accessories.

Pouncers or daubers can be used to stipple or swirl color and create airbrush or soft stenciling effects. Even a paint brush can be used to add special swipes and swirls of color. (Plus, you can use them to touch up backgrounds or add little touches of color in tight areas.)

You can apply ink to your surface either by rubbing the pad directly across it, or by use a brayer to roll the color on. Then the long open time of the pigment inks really pays off. Use a brush to create textured effects like cross hatching. The 4-sided combing tool makes it possible to make wiggly, crisscross, straight or wavy lines in your inks. Best of all, with the exception of a brayer, you can find these tools in one kit from All Night Media.

When you are on the go, how do you carry your inks? All Night Media's inkpad holder stores eight inkpads and has space for pencils and markers and even a name tag.
