Louise Jackson
Decorative Painting
Louise Jackson has been painting with a variety of media
since 1965. Her work today is in acrylics, watercolor, and
alkyds. She travels throughout the United States, Canada,
and Japan teaching workshops, as well as holding week-long
seminars in her own studio in Dayton, Ohio.
In addition to authoring 19 painting books, Louise has hosted
a television series, "Painting with Louise," produced several
watercolor videos, and a CD on portrait painting in watercolor.
Louise
received the prestigious Master Decorative Artist degree from
the Society of Decorative Painters in 1991. She is a member
of several SDP chapters and the American Society of Portrait
Artists.
Her work appears in many private and corporate collections,
as well as the Decorative Arts Collection Museum and the Smithsonian
Museum's Christmas collection.
